The irresistible music concert by the virtuoso Fidelio Trio was an absolute treat for the lovers of western classical music. Darragh Morgan (Violin), Adi Tal (Cello) , Mary Dullea (Piano) of the Fidelio Trio along with the Indian vocalist, Patrica Rozario (Soprano) created a serene environment filled with the beauty of their music. The Fidelio Trio performed many different songs and programs like Haydn – Piano trio in G major no 39 “Gypsy rondo”, Shostakovich – Seven Romances on poems by Alexander Blok, Jonathan Dove – Minterne, Saint-Saens – Piano Trio No 2 in E minor op 92. PATRICA ROZARIO – Born in Bombay, She studied at the Guildhall School of Music, winning the Gold medal, and at the National Opera studio. She has been the recipient of many prizes and awards, including the Maggie Teyte prize. She was awarded the OBE in the New Year’s honours in 2001, the Asians Women’s Award for the achievement in the Arts in 2002and the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award in January 2013. DARRAGH MORGAN (VIOLIN) – The Irish Violinist is a founding member of the Fidelio Trio. As a chamber musician and soloist, he has performed at many international festivals. He performed in the World Premiere of Sir. John Taverner’s “Hymn of Dawn”. He has recorded over 50 CDs and he has been invited to lead various orchestras and throughout the 2004 season was Artistic Director of Baroque 2000 in South Africa. ADI TAL (CELLO) – Born in Israel, She began cello studies at the age of 7 and is emerging as one of the most dynamic young cellists of her generation. She joined the Fidelio trio in 2014. She has performed with numerous orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic, and has broadcast among others BBC radio 3. She performs frequently with Cappella Andrea Barca, directed by Andras Schiff, and is also a regular participant in Daniel Barenboim’s West – Eastern Divan Orchestra. MARY DULLEA (PIANO) – The Irish Pianist performs at many international venues. A sought- after interpreter of new music, Mary’s extensive repertoire covers the standard piano literature as well as an ever increasing amount of 20th and 21st century compositions, many of which are dedicated to her. She has commissioned and premiered works from various composers. In 2014, she launched “chamber Music on Valentia”, a classical music festival on Valentia Island, Co. Kerry, of which she is Artistic Director.
