The video is about game play, beating the machine, outperforming yourself, absolute focus, dedication and about something that's supposed to be fun but isn't always really literally fun but still keeps dragging you back in." - Thijs Music: Thys Video Concept and Direction: Lex Vesseur, Thijs de Vlieger Camera: Jelmer Buitinga, Lex Vesseur Editor: Lex Vesseur Choreography: Roni Haver Dancers: Camilo Chapela, Angela Herenda, Tatiana Matveeva, Sofiko Nachkebiya, Adam Peterson, Igor Podsiadly, Lewis Seivwright Costumes: Evgeniia Shalimova Production and Technique: Maarten Otten, Eva Puschendorf, Boes Diertens (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••) (http•••)

This video is a reasonable part of the Andenken project, consisting mainly of a collection of homebrewed musical versions and homegrown visuals interpreting a 200 yrs old German song written by Leopold von Sachsen-Coburg, a then young count who missed out on becoming the sovereign of England and instead was enthroned as the first King of Belgium. #04 [Andenken.gamma.2.wav] is the result of a coöperative effort by the (dutch) name of "Piet Fluwijn en Bolleke (de avonduren van een vader en zijn zoon)". This was -besides a famous Belgian children's comic producing a distracted father and his well-to-do son- the first musical collaboration between Tomaz and Joris Thys etc.. We thank you for eventually rejoicing at the second. The voice was added rather late in the process, paraphrasing the original lyrics (to be consulted at Leopold's song #01's description): MMM,...mBAAArgH. {+Tomaz says : "da's goed hè"} To listen to the other covers or enjoy more of the project, please mouse over the videos button in the upper left, eventually check see all and -we suggest- connect good headphones before going full screen.
