Anděla vám s nebe dal, váš by národ k zpěvu zval. A ten národ pěje rád, v žalmech však i touhu znát, by ten anděl chránil Čech do skonání věků všech. / ENGLISH---- Well it's here friends, 100 years since the establishment of this corrupted republic and 70 years since the abolishment of the old administration system, officialy abolishing Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. To honor the end of the monarchy, I have decided to upload a video of our alternative anthem. The "offical" anthem of Bohemia is the St. Wenceslav Chorale, but because the monarchy and monarchism is a forgotten idea in these lands by now, and because this song is just as forgotten today, I have decided to honor this tragic anniversary with this song instead. It is very sad that weren't able to establish the monarchy again in this previous century, but it should serve us as a reminder to work even harder if we ever want to return the king to the Prague castle. Well let's hope, that in this 2nd century since the end of the monarchy we will be able to return the monarchy, kick this elected clown from the castle, and return the crown of St. Wenceslav on the head of our rightful ruler. Deus Rex Patria! "Vlastenecké hory" (Patriotic mountains in English, also called "Čechy krásné, Čechy mé" these days, or Beautiful Bohemia, my Bohemia in English) is a patriotic song written by Václav Jaromír Picek to the music written by Josef Leopold Zvonař. This song is one of a few that made Václav Jaromír Picek famous, even though this one is also mostly forgotten today. Sometimes it is considered as the alternative anthem of Bohemia, officialy it is quite far from an anthem though. Translation: Beautiful Bohemia, my Bohemia! My soul is in tension from the desire, where are your mountains, engaged with the sky? With the skies and heavens, where they think about balls, angel wearing clothes from light, created for the glory of the Lord. Lord also created you, famous Bohemia, land of beauty. He gave you an angel from the sky, he would invite your nation to sing. And that nation loves to sing, in psalms it knows the desire, that this angel will guard Bohemia till the end of all times.
