"Peer Gynt" is a 1934 German drama film with Hans Albers, Lucie Höflich and Marieluise Claudius in the leading parts, and is based on the play "Peer Gynt" by Henrik Ibsen. It was one of the most expensive productions made by Bavaria Film, filmed from the second half of August until the beginning of November 1934. The outdoor shots were taken in Gudbrandstal, Norway, as well as in Cairo, London and the Port of Hamburg. It premiered on December 7, 1934 in Berlin. Åses Tod .
