Moro Angela Brower Janai Brugger Lyric Opera Chicago
Angela Brower (Idamante) and Janai Brugger (Ilia) sing the Act 3 love duet from Mozart's opera, "Idomeneo" at Lyric Opera of Chicago for WFMT, Chicago's classical radio station. Translation: IDAMANTE If I do not die at these words it is not true that love can kill and that joy oppresses the heart. ILIA No more grief, no more lamenting! I will be constant and true to you; you are my only treasure! IDAMANTE You shall be ... ILIA As you desire me. IDAMANTE My bride ... ILIA Will you be my bridegroom? IDAMANTE, ILIA Let love speak! Ah, our joy banishes the cruel torments we have suffered; our love is all‑conquering. #mozart #opera #chicago #wfmt #italianopera #loveduet #classicalmusic

A personal note from Eimear Noone: Dear Friends, Family and Worldwide Musical Family, Thank you for your support in a project that means so much to Craig and I. Through working on World of Warcraft under the nurturing stewardship of Russell Brower and my colleagues at Blizzard Entertainment, I was afforded an opportunity to honor our son Aaron Padraic through music. In 2012 we lost our beautiful boy, two weeks before he was due to enter this magical world. This piece from WoW: Warlords of Draenor features Aaron's theme and is influenced not just by the incredible artists at Blizzard, but also by Aaron's timeless Jewish heritage and the story of Masada. It is the epic adventure he might have had, told through a mother's lullaby. My husband Craig produced an incredible worldwide YouTube orchestra of generous souls who gave their time and talent to be part of this project. At Video Games Live in Dublin during the first iDIG Music Fest, we performed the piece live with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and members of Maynooth Chamber Choir. There were over 130 musicians and singers onstage. My beautiful friend Malukah de los Santos is the star of the piece and her voice haunts me every time I hear it. Thank you Roma Downey for making me read The Dove Keepers and inspiring me. Russell Brower: you're the reason this piece exists, that is unforgettable… Tommy Tallarico: thank you for giving me the stage at Video Games Live to perform it and constant encouragement. Eamonn Noone: thanks for the rockin' orchestral percussion parts. Triforce Quartet: you know what you did! Mark Scholl: the perc work you did is amazing! Paddy Duffy: you keep me going. Chris Rooke: you answered a tweet and made us do this! David Garfinkle: thank you for your constant love and encouragement and for being there for us in Dublin. Vir Animus - for letting us use the video you shot from the festival and for your enduring support! Andrew M. Edwards: your support means the world to me. Richard Todd: thanks for being an awesome friend. Joe Correa-Pignato: you rock! Rabbi Judith HaLevy Thank you to every musician who took part in this project; seeing your faces on screen makes me very emotional every time. Mary Noone: Mom, thank you for always putting me back together when I fall down. Music heals and music unites. Finally, thank you Craig for this beautiful gift, honoring our son for all time… “Malach, Angel Messenger” Eímear Noone, composer and conductor from: World of Warcraft; Warlords of Draenor featuring: Malukah The National Youth Orchestra Ireland Members of: The Maynooth University & Enchiriadis Chamber Choirs Michael Dawson, choir master as performed at: The Dublin International Game Music Festival (iDIG Music Fest) with Video Games Live And a World-Wide Crowd Orchestra video directed, and produced by Craig Stuart Garfinkle edited by Craig Stuart Garfinkle Russell Cooley music produced and mixed by Craig Stuart Garfinkle orchestrated by Eimear Noone and Bill Liston crowd orchestra: violins: Yejin Han, Chris Ferrara Jacob Roege Andrew Steffen Emer Kinsella Margaret Strong Karen O'Doherty viola: Stanley Beckwith Andrew Steffen cello: Chad Schwartz bass: Andrew Steffen Nate Kalnitz (electric) woodwinds: Christopher Bleth, duduk Ilias Siafakas, clarinet brass: Rick Todd, horn John MacKay, horn Matt Waters Trombone 1st, 2nd and bass trombone Matthew Langford, tuba percussion: Mark Scholl, timpani, war toms, djembe, cymbals, gran casa, and taikos Heleen Langweng, bass drum Eamonn Noone, drum programming Craig Stuart Garfinkle, drum programming harp: Stephanie Bennett voices: Malukah, Sopranos and altos Alexandra Borden, altos Andrew Edwards, tenor and basses Eimear Noone, chants guitars: Joe Pignato keyboards: Olivier Amadei, harp, english horn, strings and organ Len J J Cheung, harp, and strings Sara VanLaningham, Piano special thanks!
