While scored as a trio for three djembe players, it has become common practice for percussionists to adapt the piece for multi-drum setups resembling those of Rebonds (1989) and Psappha (1975), two of Xenakis’s notable multi-percussion solos. The rhythmic material is explored and developed through a series of solos, duos, and trios, and the primary sections of the piece are distinguished through varying timbre, implements, and tempi. / CONNECT WITH VIC! ➤Website: (http•••) ➤YouTube: (http•••) ➤YouTube (Marching): (http•••) ➤YouTube (Concert): (http•••) ➤Twitter: (http•••) ➤Instagram: (http•••)
