Gargano Wolfram Lattke Hille Perl Krause Biss
Tarantella del Gargano - Anonymous From the DVD „amarcord - The Book of Madrigals" With Wolfram Lattke (tenor), Hille Perl (guitar), Lee Santana (theorbe), Michael Metzler (percussion) as well as Daniel Knauft (additional guitar), Holger Krause (additional percussion), Frank Ozimek (beanbags) and Robert Pohlers (acrobatics). "The tarantella has a very special place in our repertoire. It is about the bite of the spider, which is cured by dancing to the music of the tarantella until the poison has disappeared from the body. The tarantella allows an enormous amount of freedom. Basically, only the bass figure is fixed, and everything around it is improvised, ornamented. Not even the vocal melody is completely notated." Wolfram Lattke
