(Eesti keeles allpool ↓) In English: Young Estonian composer Karl Erik Laas (1999) started his music studies in Tartu Heino Eller Music School in Reet Mets' cello class at the age of 5. In 2008, Karl Erik continued in Tallinn Music High School under Mart Laas. In parallel of his cello studies, Karl Erik started taking composition classes from Tauno Aints in 2015. Besides studying classical music, Karl Erik is interested in sound engineering. He’s often doing sound for school events, actively gaining new knowledge and is planning to connect his future with this field. Argo & Arko Piano Duo is a young and innovative ensemble, consisting of Argo Jentson and Arko Narits, founded in the beginning of 2015. Both of them are studying in the Tallinn Music High School and have already gained recognition. The duo has attended prof. Nata-Ly Sakkos', composer Rein Rannap's and Turkish pianist Selin Şekeranber Uluğbay's master classes. The duo's repertoire is wide and includes multiple eras, especially focusing on Estonian composers such as Rannap, Tüür and Pärt. The piano duo tries to perform their classical repertoire in a clean, original way, but also learns to master contemporary pieces such as medleys and show-pieces. In spite of their short working time, The Piano Duo A & A has already given many recitals, performed in schools all over Estonia and at private events. In addition to that, the duo has achieved high places at different competitions, for example first prize at the 17th international competition of piano duos in Valga, recognition for outstanding performance at an international chamber music competition-festival “In Corpore” in Tallinn and a diploma, special prize for outstanding Tüür sonatina’s performance at the 10th international competitions of piano duos in Vologda, Russia. Eesti Vabariik saab saja-aastaseks 24. veebruaril 2018. #EV100 on meie kõigi pidu ja annab meile võimaluse anda ja saada sünnipäevakingitusi! Repertuaar ühele klaverile ja neljale käele on lai, kuid žanri enim mängitud teosteks on kujunenud rahvuslikud tantsud: Brahmsi Ungari tantsud, Griegi Norra tantsud, Dvoraki Slaavi tantsud jne. Nüüd on nimekirja lisandunud ka Laasi Eesti tants, mis pakatab Eestile omasest, peamiselt figureerib teoses labajalavalss. Karl Erik Laasi (1999) muusikaline haridus algas viie aastaselt Tartu Heino Elleri nimelises muusikakoolis. Samuti on duo eesmärgiks pidev eesti heliloojate teoste interpreteerimine. Duo üritab särada korraga kahel rindel, eesmärgiks on esitada stiilipuhtalt ja omanäoliselt klassikalist repertuaari, kuid vahelduseks pakkuda ka show-elementidega vürtsitatud lugusid ja popurriisid. Muusikaajakirjanik Elina Seegel võtab ajakirjas „Muusika“ klaveriduo olemuse kokku sõnadega „nooruslikult uljas ja bravuurikas“. Duol A & A on oma lühikesest tegutsemisajast hoolimata käsil aktiivne kontserttegevus: antud on juba mitmeid soolokontserte, esinetud koolides üle Eesti ning vallutatud lavalaudu ka mitmetel erinevatel eraüritustel. Lisaks on duot saatnud konkursiedu: peapreemia XVII rahvusvahelisel klaveriansamblite festivalil Valgas, tunnustus suurepärase esinemise eest rahvusvahelisel kammermuusika konkurss-festivalil „In corpore“ Tallinnas ning diplom ja eripreemia Tüüri sonatiini esituse eest X rahvusvahelisel A. Bahchievi nimelisel klaveriduode konkursil Vologdas, Venemaal. Uuri lisa: facebook.com/klaveriduo aapianoduo.com

He also studied a year in his formal education school's music class, but after that went to study piano in Tallinn Music School under teacher Eve Nõgene. Veljo Tormis Tejada Tauno Aints Villain Spiller Bastard Kui 2016
Raua Needmine (Curse Upon Iron) Dirección: Javier Sagastume. Ohianeder, 2016. Video: Mikel Tejada Audio: Koldo Sagastume CURSE UPON IRON Music: Veljo Tormis; lyrics from Kalevala; arranged by Tauno Aints; published by FennicaGerman. Ohoy, villain! Wretched iron! Wretched iron! Cursed bog ore! You flesh-eater, Gnaver of bones! You spiller of innocent blood! Wicked, how did you get power? Tell how you become so naughty! Damn you, bastard! Wretched iron! I know your birth, you purblind fool, I know well your source, you evil! Once there walked three nature spirits, three fiery daughters of the sky. They milked their swelling breasts to earth, They squeezed their milk into the fens. From the first maid spurted black milk, this turned into soft wrought iron. White milk squirted the second maid, this was the source of tempered steel. The third maid spouted blood-red milk, This gave birth to bog iron ore. I know your birth, you purblind fool, I know well your source, you evil! Then you were not high and mighty, not yet mighty, not yet haughty, when you moaned in the white-hot furnace, Whined under baeting hammers. Saliva was brought from a viper, venom from a black snake! For iron wouldn’t harbor evil Without saliva from snakes. Shelter us, supreme Creator! Keep us safe, God Almighty! So the mankind would not perish, mother’s child vanish without trace. Muusika: Veljo Tormis; sõnad Kalevalast; seade: Tauno Aints; published by FennicaGerman Ohoi sinda, rauda raiska, rauda raiska, rähkä kurja, liha sööja, luu pureja, vere süütuma valaja! Kust said kurja, kange’eksi, üleliia ülbe’eksi? Hurjuh sinda, rauda raiska! Tean ma sündi su sõgeda, arvan algust su õela! Käisid kolme ilmaneitsit, taeva tütarta tulista, lüpsid maale rindasida, soo peale piimasida. Üks see lüpsis musta piima, sest sai rauda pehme’eda, teine valgeta valasi, sellest tehtud on teraksed, kolmas see veripunasta, sellest malmi ilma tulnud.
