Bach - Suite IV - Sarabande for 4 celli, arranged by the amazing @Paul Wiancko This is my first attempt at this sort of multi-track recording! I am extremely sleep deprived and was looking for an escape after the kids went to sleep tonight... only to discover that this is not easy. Recorded using the front camera of an iPhone (both video and audio), thrown on a single timeline with a bit of reverb applied. I was also inspired by my ensemble-mate Ben's pandemic music experiments over at (http•••)

Noted for his "architect's eye for structure and space and a tone that ranges from the achingly fragile to full-bodied robustness" by The New York Times, he is equally at home creating experimental programs and commissioning new works, soloing with major orchestras in the USA and abroad, and collaborating with some of the most celebrated musicians of our time. His upcoming project is entitled [c]ode[x]: a set of six new commissions for violin and electronics based on poetry, to be premiered in the 2022-23 season. Alexi is represented by Opus 3 Artists. CREDITS X Suite was recorded on February 21, 2020 at the Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo, California by Sergey Parfenov, who also edited, mixed, and mastered the album, and was co-produced by Irina Osetinskaya and Alexi Kenney.
