De Gaulle was accompanied by Premier GEORGES POMPIDOU, Foreign Minister MAURICE COUVE DE MURVILLE, Defence Minister PIERRE MESSMER, Finance Minister VALERY GISCARD D'ESTAING, Education Min. CHRISTIAN FOUCHET, Agricultural Minister EDGAR PISANI, State Secretary for Youth Questions MAURICE HERZOG, Foreign Ministry Political Affairs Director OLIVER WORMSER, Foreign Ministry Cultural Affairs Director JEAN BASDEVANT and Foreign Ministry Press Spokesman CLAUDE LEBEL. Adenauer and De Gaulle then drove to the Palais SCHAUMBURG (the Federal German Chancellery) for a private meeting.
