Sir John Barbirolli Handel Hallé Harwood Marjorie Thomas Gerald English Kim Borg King Hall Hallé Orchestra 1964
A live performance from 1964 of Handel's "Messiah" with Sir John Barbirolli conducting the Hallé Orchestra. The soloists were Elisabeth Harwood, Marjorie Thomas, Gerald English, and Kim Borg. The audio is not great due to the large venue of King's Hall which seats 5,000, but this is still a fine archival recording.
