Pawlikowski Lincoln Center 1963 1969
Paweł Pawlikowski's Cold War will screen as part of the Main Slate section of the 56th New York Film Festival (September 28 – October 14). See schedule and ticket information: (http•••) Academy Award–winner Paweł Pawlikowski follows up his box-office sensation Ida with this bittersweet, exquisitely crafted tale of an impossible love. Set between the late 1940s and early 1960s, Cold War is, as the title implies, a Soviet-era drama, but it stringently and inventively avoids the clichés of many a classical-minded World War II art film, tracking the tempestuous love between pianist (Tomasz Kot) and singer (Joanna Kulig) as they must navigate the realities of living in both Poland and Paris, in and outside of the Iron Curtain. Shot in crisp black-and-white and set to a bewitching jazzy score, Pawlikowski’s evocatively detailed film consummately depicts an uncompromising passion caught up in the gears of history. An Amazon Studios release. The 17-day New York Film Festival highlights the best in world cinema, featuring top films from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent. Since 1963, NYFF has brought new and important cinematic works from around the world to Lincoln Center. In addition to the Main Slate official selections, the festival includes newly restored classics, special events, filmmaker talks, panel discussions, the avant-garde showcase Projections, and much more. Udział wzięli: Józef Janczy - lekarz, ratownik TOPR, prezes TOPR, lekarz wypraw wysokogórskich Robert Janik - lekarz, ratownik TOPR, były Naczelnik TOPR m.in. lekarz zimowej wyprawy na Mt.Everest 1989 Roman Mazik - lekarz, ratownik TOPR, lekarz wypraw wysokogórskich Andrzej Górka - ratownik medyczny, ratownik TOPR Kuba Jasiński - lekarz, ratownik TOPR Lech Korniszewski - prof medycyny, lekarz wielu wypraw wysokogórskich Maciej Pawlikowski - ratownik TOPR, himalaista Maciek Stańczak - ratownik medyczny, himalaista Darek Załuski - himalaista, filmowiec Scenariusz i reżyseria Jerzy Porębski Montaż Natalia Parol Kamera Andrzej Fryda Producent wykonawczy Asasello Production sro, Ostrava, Czechy Produkcja KiwiFilm
