Haydn Webern Brahms Robin Scott Stumpf 1905 2017
Musicians from Marlboro performs works representative of the Viennese schools. On the program are Haydn's Quartet in G Minor ("The Rider"), Op. 74, No. 3, HIII: 74; Webern's String Quartet (1905); and Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 26. This concert was presented in association with the Bill and Mary Meyer Concert Series of the Smithsonian Freer and Sackler Galleries. Musicians from Marlboro is the touring ensemble of the Marlboro Music Festival in Vermont. The performers for this tour appearance are Alexi Kenney (violin), Robin Scott (violin), Shuangshuang Liu (viola), Peter Stumpf (cello), and Zoltán Fejérvári (piano).
