Dmitry Shostakovich Alexander Mosolov
The most outrageous Russian modernist composers of the 1920s were Dmitry Shostakovich in Leningrad, and Alexander Mosolov in Moscow. They were not merely following European avant-garde trends, and their work was genuinely pioneering. Russian culture was undergoing a vigorous renewal at the time, and these composers worked across several arts: Shostakovich’s absurdist opera The Nose extends the theatrical innovations of the celebrated theatre director Vsevolod Meyerhold, while Mosolov’s 'machine music' embodies many constructivist ideas of visual artists and filmmakers. The Blackout - VFX Breakdown by Trehmer Film Check out this amazing & insightful VFX Breakdown "The Blackout ( Аванпост, Avanpost) " by the talented team at Trehmer Film. For more information, please see the details and links below : (http•••) (http•••) THE BLACKOUT The Blackout ( Аванпост, romanized: Avanpost) is a 2019 Russian science fiction thriller film directed by Egor Baranov. The film was released in the Russian Federation on November 21, 2019. No meteorites hit Earth, no terrorists put the world in danger, no atomic war was started, but something did go wrong. Contact between most towns on Earth has been severed. A small ring-like area in Eastern Europe still has electricity, and maybe even life is being reported from the Space. What military forces find outside the Ring is shocking. There are dead corpses everywhere: in stores, in cars, on roads, in hospitals and railway stations. Who or what is destroying all life on Earth? How long will the last outpost of mankind survive? Trehmer Film worked on a challenging pre-final sequence where group of protagonists trying to reach out the tower building with the main evil was hiding in it. The army of zombies where blocking their way and trying to stop them. Quite messy and barely possible for live shooting scene. We created CG crowd and some set extensions.
