Français - La Maestra dévoile les 14 cheffes sélectionnées pour sa troisième édition
Depuis sa création en 2020, le concours La Maestra connaît un grand succès qui se poursuit cette année encore, avec 197 candidatures de cheffes d’orchestre issues de 47 pays. Cette année, la qualité des dossiers est particulièrement notable, « avec un nombre record de lettres de recommandation signées des plus grandes et grands chef·fe·s d’orchestre à travers le monde ». Suite à l’appel à candidature, l’équipe du concours a donc annoncé les noms des 14 cheffes retenues pour cette édition 2023, qui se tiendra à la Philharmonie de Paris du 14 au 17 mars 2024. Les profils sont divers et variés, réunissant des candidates âgées entre 19 et 42 ans et de 13 nationalités différentes. Leonard Slatkin, from Detroit to Lyon

I’m into forward thinking. » Leonard Slatkin is currently Music Director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre National de Lyon , having previously held positions with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
