She’s also half of the adventurous duo Flutronix, with Nathalie Joachim. And with composers Paola Prestini, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Jessica Meyer, mezzo-soprano and composer Alicia Hall Moran and pianist Gabriela Martinez, Loggins-Hull has created Diametrically Composed, a project commissioning works exploring art and motherhood. In February, Flutronix will premiere “Discourse,” a site-specific work to be staged in Chapel Hill, N.C., and later this year, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will perform an expanded evening-length version of the duo’s “Black Being.” allisonloggins.com.
