Out of the Shadows again: in Clapham, Estonia and the Brixton Bugle
A lovely article in the April edition of our local newspaper, the Brixton Bugle, about our Out of the Shadows concerts in June and July. Tenor Ben Vonberg-Clark, baritone Jonathan Eyers and pianist Nigel Foster will be performing a programme of my music as part of 96 Festival, Omnibus Theatre, Clapham's celebration of queerness and theatre, on 16 June 2024, and then on Friday 5 July 2024, the programme will be presented at St John's Church, Tartu as part of the Glasperlenspiel Festival. The festival is a leading musical event in Estonian Summer and was founded in 1995 by Estonian composer and music producer, Peeter Vähi.

A jazz quartet with one-of-a-kind vocalist-bassist, esperanza spalding, and the BSO with Clark Rundell contributed to “Celebrating the Symphonic Legacy of Wayne Shorter” Thursday evening. The spectacular voice, and fulfilling message should not be missed. [] The post appeared first on The Boston Musical Intelligencer.
