The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) has announced the appointment of six assistant conductors, the first time the orchestra has appointed a cohort of such rather than a single one. Bertie Baigent, Olivia Clarke, Otis Enokido-Lineham, Jack Lovell-Huckle, Charlotte Politi and Konstantinos Terzakis start work with the CBSO in March and will be assigned at least four weeks of engagement over the next fifteen months to assist in a range of activities from family concerts to international tours, world premiere performances, and everything in between. There will also be the opportunity for meetings and workshops with musicians and management, plus an open invitation to attend all rehearsals and concerts taking place from March 2022 to June 2023.
