[…] to pair top-tier mentors with exceptional women and members of other equity-seeking groups in the arts, Turn The Spotlight today announces three prizes, awarded to outstanding Fellows from the most recent cohort in recognition of the groundbreaking projects developed over the course of their 2020/21 fellowships.The awards were granted by the Spotlight Team of two dozen arts professionals, including industry luminaries Julia Bullock, Jamie Barton, Aubrey Bergauer, Afa Dworkin, Kamala Sankaram, Monica Yunus, and Camille Zamora. Messiah in Berlin: Handel's oratorio staged in the Philharmonie

Handel: Messiah - Tim Mead, Louise Alder, RIAS KammerchorDeutschen Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (Photo Kai Bienert) A divided chorus was suitably positioned on opposite sides of the stage which was dominated by a wide circular dais (representing the Universe?) illuminated by a set of eight glaring white strips of neon-lit tubing highlighting its circumference conjured up by lighting designer, Ben Zamora, whilst the overall stage picture was completed by a further two dozen tubes hanging heavenwards to the Galactic Clusters.
