The 32-year-old mezzo-soprano will have a run on the stage of the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv in the company's 2016-17 season opener, Vincenzo Bellini's Norma. Israel-born and raised, Anat Czarny is a leading opera voice, well known and beloved from appearances in recitals, concerts, radio broadcasts and more throughout Israel.

Jan. 10 CNY Playhouse: Lend Me a Tenor

Ludwig penned this farce in 1986, and it has been finding its way into professional, semi-professional and community theaters ever since. The latest troupe to stage Lend Me a Tenor locally is CNY Playhouse, which this weekend kicked off its new (2015) season. A delightful ensemble of eight comic actors under the capable direction of Dustin Czarny kept the laughs coming, and did so without resorting to silly slapstick or kitsch. April 18 CNY Playhouse: Laughter on the 23rd Floor
[…] CNY Playhouse takes the audience on a hilarious romp through this virtual “war room” of words, set during the height of the McCarthy era when sponsor-driven shows were broadcast live. And it does so with a magnificent set that captures almost every detail and nuance of the mid-‘50s.
