Music Remembers Wartime Trauma
Yet it is not only we who remember music. Music also remembers us. For myriad reasons, Jeremy Eichler’s “Time’s Echo: The Second World War, the Holocaust, and The Music of Remembrance” makes for an unusually important and continuously compelling read.
